Women Divers Hall of Fame Honors Margo Peyton of Kids Sea Camp

Well-known for her dedication toward getting kids diving and creating family scuba events around the world with Kids Sea Camp. Margo has for the past 20 years devoted her life to promoting dive travel & education, She is proud to be honored with this prestigious honor.
The Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) has announced that Margo Peyton will be inducted into this prestigious group this year. The Women Divers Hall of Fame is an international not-for-profit organization established to recognize the elite and outstanding women divers whose achievements have enriched the worldwide scuba diving community.
As a part of their mission the Women Divers Hall of Fame provides educational, financial, and mentorship resources and support for women divers of all ages, but especially those who are preparing for professional careers in diving. Members are leading women divers throughout the world whose dramatic contributions to the underwater world may be found in the arts, sciences, medicine, sport, exploration, archeology, media, safety, education, service business, environment and conservation.
Margo Peyton
Margo Peyton – Came from a small mostly Portuguese town in Cape Cod Ma. She grew up on the ocean inspired by her Dad a long time diver from the 1950’s. Margo has a degree in Travel & Tourism, she ran Caribbean Adventures & World Dive Adventures for 11 years as a successful Dive Travel Specialist. As a mother of two, she realized a need for family dive travel and founded Kids Sea Camp in 2000. Margo’s camps certify over 600 PADI divers annually and introduce hundreds of children to the Ocean and the world of diving through PADI educational programs featured at kids Sea Camp. She has created the world’s largest family dive program, with 1,600 participants each year.
Margo is co-founder of Ocean Wishes Foundation which provides opportunities for inner city kids, underprivileged kids and even local kids at her kids Sea camp destinations to participate in all programs such as learning to dive. Besides her own initiatives, she contributes to Oceans for Youth, Ocean Pals, DAN, DEMA and many other charities. She is a PADI Dive Master and has been diving since 1989 she has logged over 3,000 dives, and has numerous specialties.
